We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. the host was amazing, providing us with great recommendations and all the necessary amenities. the cottage felt new and fresh, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the location was perfect, right in the heart of a beautiful old town. We loved being able to explore the area and have easy access to nearby attractions. we had a wonderful time at this cottage.

The lack of parking near the cottage. We had to walk uphill from a parking lot with all our luggage, which was quite exhausting and stressful.

The location of the apartment is very central within the city walls, making it easy to explore Obidos. the owner also provides excellent communication and is helpful in giving recommendations for places to eat and visit. the apartment is well-appointed with a dishwasher, microwave, and oven in the kitchen, as well as a washer for clothes.

Accessing the apartment with luggage can be difficult as vehicles are not allowed within the city walls. This means that you have to carry all your luggage uphill from a parking lot, which can be stressful and challenging.

Amazing location inside the historic walls. Host helpful, provided parking permit and gave tour. Late at night, brought bread and milk for kids. Authentic village house with all amenities and cozy atmosphere.

I stayed at Casa Da Travessa for two days with my mum and aunt, and it was a lovely experience. The property beautifully captured the charm of Portugal with its castle walls and traditional Portuguese home design. It was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern amenities. Gabriela, our host, was exceptional, providing thorough directions and seamless check-in. The little touches she left, like a welcome basket with tea, made us feel so welcome. The location was ideal, within walking distance to all the attractions, restaurants, and bars. The house itself was clean, well-maintained, and felt like a true home away from home.
